
Abstract Submission
The PIIN 2025 conference welcomes abstracts in the fields of Basic, Clinical and Social Sciences, Epidemiology and Public Health across a wide range of disciplines including immunology, infectious disease and One Health.
Please adhere to the abstract submission guidelines and policies indicated below. Abstracts selected for oral presentations will be notified by Session Chairs after the submission deadline by email.

Abstract submission policy
1. Submit your abstract to one of the five PIIN symposium sessions:

(i) Vaccines and immunotherapeutics
(ii) Chronic and inflammatory diseases
(iii) One Health including livestock and wildlife species
(iv) Host-pathogen interactions
(v) Indigenous Engagement in Infection and Immunity Research
Presenting authors will be asked to select which of these sessions best represents their area of research. If you are unsure which session to select, please indicate "other" and the organizing committee will select an appropriate session on your behalf.

2. Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must register to attend PIIN 2025 in person. There will be no remote video access available at this conference.

3. There is a limit of one abstract per presenting author with an option to be considered for an oral presentation in the symposium session selected. If you abstract is not selected for an oral talk, you will be invited for a poster presentation during the poster session. Instructions for poster presentations will be emailed to you at a later time.
Abstract Guidelines
Abstract title: maximum 20 words.

Authors & Affiliations: ensure all affiliations of authors are included below the abstract title. Use superscripts (1,2,3) when there are more than one affiliation. Please underline the presenting author.

Abstract body length: maximum 300 words. Tables or figures embedded within the abstract body will not be accepted.
​
Language: abstracts should be written in English.
​
Abstract format: must be submitted in either a .docx or .pdf format through the abstract submission page.
